Learn how to embed an HTML form or external web page into a Salespath presentation slide so your sales team can collect customer information or display promotional content directly from the tablet.
You can embed an external web page or HTML form directly into a slide in your Salespath presentation. This is useful for displaying things like contact forms, promotional pages, or any web content you want your sales team to access from the tablet during a presentation.
| Note: The ability to edit Salespath Presentations is only available to Tenant Admins. Read more about User Roles and Permissions here. |
What you'll need before you start
- Two blank slide images (JPEGs) ready to upload. These slides will serve specific functions in the setup — one will display the embedded content, and one will act as a "close" trigger. They can be simple branded images with minimal text.
- The HTML or URL you want to embed.
- Familiarity with the Presentation Manager. If you're new to adding slides and tap zones, review How To Add or Edit a Presentation in Salespath before continuing.
| 💡 Tip: When designing your blank slides, we recommend including two buttons in the layout: a Menu button (to return to the main menu) and an End Presentation button (to close the presentation after the form is submitted). These will be linked using tap zones in the steps below. |
Step 1: Upload your two blank slides
- In Salespath, go to Settings > Presentation Manager.
- Click Edit next to the presentation you want to update.
- Upload both blank slides using the Upload New Slides button, then click Upload.
- Activate both slides by clicking the arrow on the bottom of each slide thumbnail in the Inactive Slides section.
Step 2: Add the iframe embed to the first blank slide
This is the slide where your form or web content will actually appear.
- Find the first blank slide in your Active Slides list.
- Click the star icon in the top right corner of the slide thumbnail. This opens a menu with three options: Rinsed CRM, Iframe embed, and Close.
- Select Iframe embed.
- Paste your HTML code into the text field that appears.
- Click OK.
Step 3: Link your navigation buttons using tap zones
Now you'll connect the Menu and End Presentation buttons on this slide to the correct destination slides.
- On the same slide (the one with the embedded form), click the tap zone config button in the bottom right corner.
- Draw tap zones over the Menu and End Presentation button areas on your slide design.
- In the Linked Slide dropdown for each tap zone, select the appropriate destination — your main menu slide for the Menu button, and the second blank slide (your "close" slide) for the End Presentation button.
- Click Save Changes.
Step 4: Configure the second blank slide to close the presentation
The second blank slide acts as a hidden trigger — when the salesperson taps "End Presentation" and is routed to this slide, it automatically closes the presentation.
- Find the second blank slide in your Active Slides list.
- Click the star icon in the top right corner of the slide.
- From the menu, select Close. This tells Salespath to close the presentation whenever this slide is reached.
Step 5: Save and test
- Scroll to the bottom of the Presentation Manager page and click Save Changes.
- Use the Preview button to test the flow: navigate to the embed slide, confirm the form loads, and test that the Menu and End Presentation buttons work as expected.
Make the embed slide accessible from your presentation
Once the slide is set up, you'll need to make sure salespeople can reach it during a presentation. Common approaches include:
- Adding a dedicated button on your main menu slide that links to the embed slide
- Linking to the embed slide from the "single wash" option on each package slide (so retail customers who don't purchase a membership are routed to the form)
Use the tap zone tools in Presentation Manager to set these up.
