Learn how to enable Salesperson Mode, which allows Admins and Site Managers to start presentations without needing a separate Salesperson account.
What is Salesperson Mode?
Site Managers and Tenant Admins can now be enabled to enter a "salesperson mode" via a new "Allow Sales" checkbox in the User Manager. When activated, these users gain access to the Salesperson dashboard where they can start presentations and sell in the lane, then easily toggle back to their regular view at any time from the profile menu. These users will also appear in salesperson filters across reports and leaderboards, with the exception of Weekly Guided Coaching (where managers cannot coach themselves).
When in Salesperson Mode, the user experience will be identical to that of logging in as a Salesperson user.
How to enable Salesperson Mode
| Salesperson Mode is available to Tenant Admins and Site Managers. However, only Tenant Admins can enable Salesperson Mode for other users. |
Enable Salesperson Mode for an individual user
- Log into Salespath as a Tenant Admin.
- Click Settings > User Manager.
- Next to any Tenant Admin or Site Manager user, click Edit > User Info.
- Check Allow Sales.
- When the Allow Sales box is checked, this will prompt the selection of a few additional fields pertaining to this user when in Sales Mode: Graduating Commission Plan, Title, Default Location. For more information about these fields, click here.
- Set the above fields, then click Save.
Migrating from a separate Salesperson login
If your Site Managers or Tenant Admins have previously been logging into Salespath with a separate Salesperson user, we recommend "promoting" the Salesperson users to Managers/Admins and enabling Salesperson mode. This will reduce duplication while still preserving the XP and rank of the Salesperson user.
- Click Settings > User Manager.
- Locate the Salesperson user.
- Click Edit > User Info.
- In the Role field, "promote" the role to Site Manager or Tenant Admin.
- Click Allow Sales.
- Save changes.
- Once the Salesperson user has been "promoted," search for the old Manager / Admin account in User Manager.
- Click Edit > User Info > Disable account.
How it works
Once Salesperson mode is enabled for a user, they can switch into and out of Salesperson Mode in just a few taps.

How to exit Salesperson Mode

Reporting
Non-Salesperson sales activity can be viewed in all Salespath reports. For Salesperson-filterable reports, you will see a visual icon representing non-Salesperson users who have sales access.
