Learn how to manually or automatically exclude transactions from commission calculations.
There may be times when a transaction needs to be excluded from commission calculations — for example, if it was misattributed or does not meet your qualifying criteria. This article walks through how to disqualify an individual transaction from the Daily Transactions report.
Disqualify an Individual Transaction
- Navigate to the Daily Transactions Report: From the left-hand navigation menu, click Reports, then select Daily Transactions.
- At the top of the page, use the Data Filters to select the desired date, record type (e.g., Retail), and location. Once your filters are set, click the Run Report button.
- Scroll down to the Transaction Details section and click on it to expand the list of individual transactions. Each row displays the date/time, type, lane, salesperson, length, and status of the transaction.
- Find the transaction you want to review and click the Details button on the right side of that row.
A modal window will open showing the full transaction record, including the invoice number, transaction details, salesperson information, and invoice line items.
- At the bottom of the transaction modal, click the Disqualify button.
A confirmation dialog will appear with the following message: "This transaction is currently qualified for commission. Marking it as disqualified will exclude it from commission calculations."
- You may optionally enter a Reason in the text field provided.
- Once ready, click Disqualify to confirm. To exit without making changes, click Cancel.
Note: Disqualifying a transaction removes it from commission calculations. This action is logged and can be reviewed via the Audit History button on the same transaction modal.
Auto-Disqualify Based on Session Criteria
