Across your Salespath reports, you will see sessions flagged to indicate whether they have met our quality standards. In this article, we outline what each flag means, how they are awarded, and how the Site Manager dashboard alert works.
What is Session Quality?
Salespath evaluates each presentation session to help managers identify whether their salespeople are using the tablet correctly and delivering quality audio. This article explains how session quality is determined, what the quality indicators in your reports mean, and how you can configure quality thresholds and consequences from your Tenant Settings.

ℹ️ The Session Quality feature is available upon request. Please contact our Customer Support or Customer Success team to enable Session Quality in your account! |
Session Quality Statuses
- VALID ( ✅ ): A green check mark indicates that the session is valid and has met the quality standards.
- INVALID =( ⚠️ ): A yellow triangle indicates that the session is invalid and has not met the quality standards.
- PENDING ( 🕑 ): A gray clock indicates that the session is currently under evaluation which has not been completed yet.
What Happens When a Session Is Invalid?
By default, a session being flagged as invalid (⚠️) only affects how it appears in your reports. It has no impact on commission, points, or XP on its own.
However, Tenant Admins can optionally enable additional settings on the Tenant Settings page to extend the consequences of an invalid session:
- Auto-Disqualify Invalid Presentations — Automatically disqualifies any presentation flagged as invalid, removing the salesperson's commission eligibility for that transaction. This applies to presentations going forward only.
- Remove Rewards — Revokes Salespath points and XP for any disqualified transaction, whether it was disqualified manually or automatically. This applies retroactively — if points or XP were already awarded before the transaction was disqualified, they will be removed.
When both settings are enabled, a salesperson whose presentation is flagged as invalid will not receive commission, points, or XP for that transaction.
For full details on how to configure these settings, see Tenant Settings.
How Quality Status (Valid / Invalid) is Determined
Each presentation session is evaluated against two criteria: audio length and audio clarity. Both thresholds are configurable by Tenant Admins on the Tenant Settings page.
Audio Length Each session must fall within a minimum and maximum duration to pass this check. Sessions that are too short or too long will be marked invalid.
Audio Clarity Salespath's AI evaluates how clear and understandable the salesperson's audio is and assigns a clarity score between 0 and 3. Sessions that fall below your configured minimum clarity score will be marked invalid.
A session must pass both checks to receive a valid (✅) status. If either check is not met, the session is marked invalid (⚠️). Sessions that are still being evaluated will show a pending status (🕑) until results are available.
| Note: Quality icons only appear for Tight Match sessions on the Daily Transactions report. |
Where to View Session Quality
Site Manager Dashboard Alert
If more than 25% of a location's sessions for the day are flagged as low quality (invalid), Site Managers will see a yellow alert banner at the top of their dashboard:
"Session Quality Needs Attention — [X] of [Y] presentations today are flagged as low quality (Tap to view)"
Tapping or clicking the alert will navigate you to the Session Quality report to review the flagged sessions.
The alert will remain visible as long as more than 25% of that day's sessions are flagged as low quality. It is not manually dismissible; it will resolve automatically once the percentage drops back below the threshold.
| Note: The quality threshold (25%) is a global setting and is not currently configurable per account. |
