Experience all the Salespath functionality you love, plus improved reliability, performance, and overall usability with the Salespath native app.
What is the Salespath native app?
We’re excited to share that as of August 2025, Salespath is moving from being a browser-based web app to a fully native application.
Web apps only give users access to interactions supported by web browsers. Native mobile apps, on the other hand, let users interact with their devices' internal hardware and operating systems.
This change is designed to improve reliability, performance, and overall usability for teams.
What are the benefits of a native app?
1. Better Device Performance & Battery Management
Improved Battery Control: Previously, it was very difficult to know the exact battery level of a device until it reached a charge level of below 5%. The native app helps optimize battery usage and provides visibility into device power status.
Brightness Management: Adjust screen brightness easily—even when the device battery is low—ensuring visibility in any environment.
2. Simplified Network Setup
Easy Wi-Fi/SIM Configuration: The app will guide you through connecting to Wi-Fi or setting up a SIM card, streamlining onboarding and troubleshooting. Access to network settings has now been streamlined to facilitate set up and troubleshooting.
3. Secure, Focused Work Environment
Isolated Workspace: Unlike a web app, the native app doesn’t run in a browser, so users can’t open unrelated tabs or apps—helping maintain focus.
Automatic Access to Microphone & Camera: These are configured through our device management system, so there’s no need for repeated permissions or setup.
4. Enhanced Device Tracking & Management
Tighter Device Control: The native app pulls direct device IDs, enabling more accurate tracking and better device management. We’ll also be able to easily lockdown a device via the app if for whatever reason it leaves its designated site.
5. Future-Ready Capabilities
Advanced Remote Support Tools: With the native app, the Rinsed Support Team will be able to gain deeper insights into device connectivity, Wi-Fi signal strength, and battery trends, so we can best support you and your team.
Why this change matters
Switching to a native app means smoother operation, better device control, and a more reliable Salespath experience. Over time, it will also unlock powerful features that make device management and troubleshooting even easier for your team.
How to get the native app
If using Rinsed-provided tablets: Please contact our Customer Success team to inquire about the Native App. All new Salespath customers onboarded after January 2026 will automatically have the Salespath Native App loaded onto Rinsed-provided tablets.
If using iOS devices (iPads), not provided by Rinsed:
- Download the Salespath Native App directly from the App Store.
- Re-enroll the tablet in Salespath when prompted. You will see the typical enrollment screen. Follow the standard enrollment steps.
What to expect when upgrading
If using Rinsed-provided tablets: Once our team has begun the process of upgrading your tablets to the native app, you will be notified of the upgrade date and the process will happen after working hours. Once you open your tablets the next day, Salespath should function as usual without any additional steps!
If using iOS devices (iPads), not provided by Rinsed: Once you've downloaded the app and re-enrolled your device, Salespath should function as normal with all existing functionality. The iOS native app is primarily a reliability improvement, in particular because it uses the iPad's native audio recording rather than Safari-based audio capture. Beyond this improvement, there is no change to Salespath features.
