This article outlines Rinsed’s repair and replacement policies for Zebra and Samsung tablets, including warranty coverage, upgrade requirements, and associated costs. It also walks through the step-by-step process for requesting a replacement device and returning damaged equipment.
Tablet Repair and Replacement Policies
Zebra Tablets
- Accidental Damage Coverage: Zebra tablets come with full repair coverage. If a Zebra tablet is damaged through any means, as long as you still have the physical device, it is generally covered under warranty.
- Turnaround Time: Rinsed will send out a replacement device as soon as we have all the required information. That device is shipped with ground shipping. Rinsed will include a return label so that you can return the damaged device.
- Lost/Stolen Devices: Tablets that have been lost or stolen must be replaced at full purchase price.
Samsung Tablets
- Warranty and Replacement Policy: Rinsed no longer offers a repair warranty for Samsung tablets. They are no longer available to order, and any existing devices will not be repaired under warranty.
- Upgrade Requirement: If a Samsung tablet is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond use, users are required to upgrade to a Zebra tablet. Samsung devices are considered end of life and are not being replaced like for like.
- Escalation: Any request to replace a Samsung tablet should be escalated to our Customer Success team at customersuccess@rinsed.co.
Repair and Replacement Process for Zebra Tablets
Damaged or Broken Tablets
If your Zebra tablet is damaged, and you need a replacement:
- Contact Customer Support (support@rinsed.co) requesting a replacement. When opening the Support ticket, please include:
- Device Identifier (Device Name or Serial Number). Device name can be found at the bottom of your Salespath Login page on the device. It begins with EPR-NNZ-
- Shipping Information for the replacement device
- A description of the issue with the device.
- The Rinsed team will issue a replacement tablet to be sent to the shipping location. In this package you will receive:
- A replacement device
- A repair order
- A return shipping label
- Once you receive the replacement device, repair order, and shipping label, please package the damaged tablet with the repair order, and ship it to the designated repair facility using the shipping label. No accessories should be included. Please keep accessories and transfer to the replacement device.
- Your return package must include:
- The damaged device
- The repair order
- Your package should not include:
- External battery pack
- Rugged case
- D-clips and shoulder strap
- Your return package must include:
Lost or Stolen Tablets
Tablets that have been lost or stolen must be replaced at full purchase price. To purchase a replacement, please contact your Customer Success Manager or email customersuccess@rinsed.co.
