Create and manage custom Marketplace Rewards that motivate your sales team with meaningful, flexible options.

Marketplace Rewards allows you to offer gamified incentives and rewards to your sales associates, driving better performance and a fun, engaged sales culture. By adding items to the Marketplace, you can offer salespeople rewards that align with their interests, whether through client-fulfilled perks like PTO or automatically fulfilled TANGO gift cards. A well-curated Marketplace helps drive engagement by giving your team clear, appealing goals to work toward.
You will have a variety of items in your Marketplace by default, but you can add custom items by following the instructions below.
Add items to Marketplace
- From the Salespath navigation menu, click Settings > Marketplace Rewards
- Click Add Item. Then, fill out the required fields.
- Type: Select the fulfillment type.
- Client Manual Fulfillment: You are responsible for manually fulfilling this item and tracking its fulfillment.
- Auto Fulfillment: Item will be automatically fulfilled through TANGO. Choose from a predefined list of available items.
- Item (Automated Fulfillment only): Choose the TANGO item you would like to add to the Marketplace. The TANGO item ID and cost will populate.
- Double check that the country (United States or Canada) as well as the Tango Cost are correct when adding your item.
- Please note that all physical auto-fulfillment items such as iPhones, iPads, Playstations, etc. will be sent as an Amazon gift card of equivalent value.
- Name: The name of the item as it will appear in the Marketplace for Salespeople. (E.g. "1 Day of PTO"). Not editable for Auto Fulfilled Items.
- Description: A description of the item. (E.g. "One 8-hour day of paid vacation!"). Not editable for Auto Fulfilled Items.
- Image (Client manual fulfillment only): Choose the icon image for this Marketplace item. See FAQ for adding a new image.
- Salespath Points: The number of Salespath points required to cash in for this item.
- Min. Rank Level: The minimum Salesperson rank that can achieve this reward. Set to 0 if you would like all Salespeople to have access to this reward.
- Active: Check this box to make the item active in your Marketplace.
- Locations (optional): Select one or more locations to restrict this item to salespeople whose Default Location matches. If left blank, the item will be visible to all salespeople. If your account uses Region Mode, you can select location groups instead — the item will appear for any user in a matching group or location.
- Click Save to save your changes.

FAQ
Q: There isn't an applicable image available for my item. How can I add a new image?
A: If you need to add a new image for use in your Marketplace, please contact Customer Support with the image file and they can make it available for you.
Q: I want to add a Tango item to the marketplace, but it's not available in the Item dropdown. What do I do?
A: If you have found an available item in TANGO that you don't see available in Marketplace, please contact Customer Support with a link to the TANGO item and they can add it for you.
Q: What does Rinsed recommend as far as which items I should add to the marketplace?
Ultimately, the way you structure your Marketplace is totally up to you, but here are a couple of recommended practices:
- Poll your Salespeople for which rewards are most interesting to them, then add those to ensure that the Marketplace contains rewards your team actually wants to work toward.
- Don't include any rewards that don't apply to the local area (for example, if there is no Chili's nearby, don't include a Chili's gift card).
- Include some flexible reward options like a Visa Giftcard that can be used for anything, so that all Salespeople can work toward a reward they really want.
Q: Once I've added an item to the Marketplace, can I switch from manual to auto-fulfillment or vice versa?
A: Once you've added an item to the Marketplace, the fulfillment type cannot be changed. You will need to create a new item with the correct fulfillment type, then deactivate the old item.
To deactivate an item:
- Under Settings > Marketplace Rewards, locate the item you need to deactivate.
- Click Edit.
Uncheck the Active box.
- Click Save.
Q: Can I make certain Marketplace items available only at specific locations?
A: Yes. When adding or editing a Marketplace item, you can optionally select one or more locations in the Locations field. The item will only appear to salespeople whose Default Location matches a selected location. If your tenant has Region Mode enabled, you can configure items per location group instead. If no locations are selected, the item is visible to all salespeople across your tenant.
This means you can also set different point values for rewards at different locations. Add the same reward twice, and choose the correct point value and location(s) for each reward instance.
