FOR ICS WASHES ONLY - if you do not use ICS as your point of sale (POS), please disregard this article.
As part of your Rinsed CRM technical setup, car washes using ICS as their POS must make a few updates in the WashConnect portal. These adjustments are essential for enabling ecommerce-related automations and ensuring you get the full benefits of Rinsed.
Update Recharge Period
Please update your recharge period to at least 14 days within WashConnect.
Instructions:
- Sign in to WashConnect at the Site Level (note that this process needs to be done for each individual site you are onboarding with Rinsed).
- Navigate to System Setup > Devices > Settings
- At the top of the page, make sure the following four fields are set to Autobilling:
- Device Type
- Device Name
- Settings Type
- Settings
- Next, update the Number of Days to Add in Declined Config to Create Range field to 14. (If this is already set to 14 or more, you can leave it as is).
- Finally, update the Number of Days to Autobill After Membership Was Declined field to 1.
- Repeat these steps for any additional sites you are onboarding with Rinsed.
Add Plans to WashConnect Rinsed External Profile
To ensure your plans can be pulled into Rinsed, complete the following steps.
Instructions:
- Sign in to WashConnect at the Corporate Level.
- On the right-hand side, go to Configuration > Goods and Services > External POS Profiles*.
- Please note that EPOS and External POS are NOT the same thing.
- *If you do not see the External POS Profiles tab, please reach out to ICS and request an "external POS profile for Rinsed."
- In the Services box, add all club plans and single washes that you would like to appear in Rinsed. Tutorial Video Here.
Create Pause Plans in WashConnect
For certain Rinsed functionality, you will need to create Pause Plans.
Instructions:
- Sign in to WashConnect at the Corporate Level.
- Create a club plan (with no services) set at $0.01. Instructions Here.
Create Downsell Plans in WashConnect
If you wish to use Rinsed’s downsell feature, you will need to create counterpart discounted plans for each monthly plan within WashConnect. For our recommended rates, you can reference this article.
Instructions:
Creating a downsell plan in WashConnect is like creating any monthly plan, except you should price it at the discounted rate (for example - if you offer a $20 monthly plan, and intend to offer a 25% discount, the downsell plan should simply be priced at $15).
To ensure consistency, please give each downsell plan the naming convention - "[Full Priced Plan Name] [% Off] [Special Offer]"
- (Example - if you intend to offer a 25% discount to your full-priced Ultimate Plan, the downsell plan should be named “Ultimate Plan 25% Off Special Offer”).
These downsell plans can be set in perpetuity (you do not need to set a time limit on how long the discount is in effect for, since this is all handled through Rinsed).
As with all other plans, these downsell plans will also need to be added to the External POS Profile tab.
